Social Media - Past, Present & Future
The History of Social Networking - You mean it didn't start with Facebook?!?
This is a great article and although it was written a year ago, it gives great insight to the history of Social Networking and even a realistic look into the future.

Setting Up Your Blog
1. You must have a gmail account
2. Go to https://www.blogger.com/start and login using your gmail account information
3. From the dashboard you will want to click on the link that says: create a blog
4. The next screen will ask you for your blog title, which you can decide, and your blog url, which must be: 227lastnamefirstinitalmiddleinital
5. You will then be allowed to chose a basic template for your blog
6. In addition to the specific requirements for the url of your blog, you must also use your first and last name as your display name and upload a picture of yourself for the profile picture. This can be done via the "Edit Profile" link that is on the main page
7. It is also a requirement for this class that you are a public follower of the main class site, which has the url of: http://227rethinking.blogspot.com
8. Demo how to follow a site and subscribe to content
